Time in Physics International Workshop – 2025

The concept of time does not exist in some cultures, while in others it has been examined for centuries by philosophers and scientists. Although time is present in classical, relativistic and quantum physics, its nature remains uncertain.

The Time in Physics International Workshop – 2025 will provide a vibrant environment for discussions on time from a physics perspective, including experimental ones, fostering interaction among participants. Some of the topics that may be addressed are: fundamental questions about physical time, quantum gravity, experiments that investigate time, the arrow of time, thermodynamics, timeless theories, among others.
